A name blanket is often the first thing a baby owns that is truly theirs. Our baby blankets are made to order with a first name, a nickname, or birth details such as date, time and weight, set in a design you choose.
For babies we recommend the 30 × 40 in size: big enough to tuck around a stroller or car-seat cover, small enough not to drag on the floor. The 40 × 50 in size grows with a toddler and becomes the nap blanket for daycare and the couch. Both are available in fleece and in the thicker sherpa. Measurements are on our Size Guide.
Safety first: loose blankets should not be placed in a sleeping infant’s crib. Follow your pediatrician’s and the safe-sleep guidance for your country, and use a baby blanket for supervised cuddles, tummy time, stroller walks, photos and as a keepsake.
Baby blankets make thoughtful shower and newborn gifts. If you are ordering before the birth, you can place the order once the name is confirmed; we cannot hold an order open for a name to be filled in later. Our FAQs explain how to check spelling and special characters.
Wash before first use, cold and gentle, with a mild detergent, and tumble dry low. Returns within 60 days are covered by our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
